I was really impressed with their music and arts program, however, it has declined in participation over my years here. Same with drama. I did not appreciate the amount of hype towards sports when we really aren't that good at some of them when our music and drama and art department doesn't get enough attention. However, I really enjoyed most of my teachers and how helpful they were. There are various clubs and activities to participate in, however, I don't think Valley has done a good enough job in adapting to the whole Covid thing. We had nothing for Homecoming, not even a court, and it upset me. We could have had something for us seniors... I just don't think they are doing enough to make up for the senior's poor excuse of the last year in high school.

The thing that I like most about valley is that the teachers actually care about the students. They worry about us and care about our future and our education.

My experience at Valley Lutheran was incredible, the small classroom sizes ensure success with personal connections with the teachers.

Valley Lutheran is the top school in the Saginaw area, and I don't really think it is close. It has very strong academics that prepare students for some of the top schools in the country.
