MY experience at Walden Groove was a remarkable one. I made life long friendships and was challenge to grow academically. I do feel that there were not proactive supports for college readiness. Everything I learned about postsecondary opportunities was through my parents or friends. I met with the counselor about twice a year and they only checked to see if I was on track to graduate. I did not get guidance or support regarding what career track to pick based on profitability or passion. I feel like they kept giving presentations about importance to go to college but never guided support. I also feel like at the career fairs there was a lot more focus on military careers vs technical education or college.

Walden grove has been good it like a high school Musical. Really fun and a very active school. There's was multi time they had lost something I need and the couldn't find it. And some Staff are a bit rude when your trying to get help but most of them are really nice.

This school made me feel right at home once I got used to it. All of my teachers provided great support for everything I was doing. The biggest complaint I have is the classes offered, because multiple AP classes are no longer available, and the Engineering program is ending this year.
