GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Francis Howell north has been productive. The atmosphere around me had always been encouraging and sincere. The only bad part was that Covid pushed back the finish date on our new school and the class of 2024 was scheduled to be the first graduating class of the new building, but it got pushed to 2025. So I'm sad about missing out on that opportunity in the new building, but other than that I'm glad I go to school here and I'm going to miss a lot of people. And I hope things get better for our sports teams.

The teachers are amazing and helpful. They really know the material they are teaching and are very good at it. The issue I have had is the amount of diversity. It is lacking, however that is not the school's fault. It is simply the city it is located is not very diverse. Something that be nice if it changed is the amount of diversity education, which is very rare.

I loved being involved with sports even though we didn't have a field for half my time at Francis howell north, but I wish I had known more about opportunities and clubs that would make my college resume more appealing.

The FHSD community is clique-y, divisive, and distracted from education by political pressure to conform to trans-gendered rights. One of my kids will graduate from this schoo...

This school is a solid 3, it’s disgusting barely any custodians and the bathrooms are so gross. As a parent this is extremely concerning as my daughter has sent photos of the disgusting bathroom! Extremely vulgar language everywhere, no dress code as people wear tails and ears! The staff say its how...
