I think the reason behind my good experience is through being highly involved. There are many opportunities if you so choose to take part in them. St. James also has college classes you are able to take through Minnesota colleges, these are very helpful, and give you more of challenging coursework.

Teachers do not care if you learn or not. We are not getting prepared for the real world. There are some teachers who work extremely hard to make a difference but the school board and the superintendent don't like change.

Our athletics aren't very good, so not many people have school spirit. We have awful equipment to practice with, our school is falling apart because the school board can not come up with a good referendum. I participated in tennis for 11 years and we had to fund our own money so we could purchase new uniforms and new courts.
