GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

administration should practice having empathy and compassion towards students.Pushing students towards certain standards and obligations and punishing them if they don't meet those requirements at times is cruel. All this to say, understand that you don't know what challenges some students could be facing and the intensity of those challenges could be impacting their work ethic and behavior.

Most of the teacher and classes I've had at Central have proved helpful and stood the test of time. The students that attend Central are quite mischevious, tearing up bathrooms or stuff in class. In more recent years, the teachers they've hired here have gone down in quality.

It's your average high school with money issues. For every good thing there is a negative. My only wish is more interaction from the higher ups to promote school moral.

Everyone there is very nice and friendly, the teachers stay late for tutoring, they reply to emails immediately, and their main goal is to help the students. For these teachers they aren't working to p...

Central High School is my current high school and I hope to never leave, honestly. I'm in 9th grade and I couldn't have hoped for a more hospitable and caring environment provided by teachers and upperclassmen for my beginning high school experience. It's a great school and I truly feel like all of...
