This top-rated public school serves around 350 students in grades K-4. The mission of Conway Elementary School is to ensure academic excellence through varied avenues of learning and growth. The philosophy at the school is to embrace each child as an individual and to personalize instruction, empowering all students to perform above expected achievement levels.
One facet of this vision is Conway’s parent association. This organization provides support for students and staff. Together, they make significant accomplishments for the school, such as the addition of a sensory room in 2016 that provides an innovative new space for students to interact, move, and learn.
Based on overall test scores, Conway Elementary placed in the top 5 percent of schools in Missouri for the 2018-2019 school year. More than two-thirds of the student body test proficient or higher in math, and more than three-fourths score at this level for reading.
Conway’s academic and extra-curricular successes have received top recognition. Niche ranks Conway in the top 10 best elementary schools in the state. The school has been awarded two Gold Stars from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary education, was named an Apple Distinguished School in 2017, and is a proud 2007 and 2019 National Blue Ribbon School.

Excellent education! Staff is amazing and they push the kids hard to excel -which is why there test scores are so high. Couldn't find a better elementary education anywhere.
