What I like about gateway is the environment and the people. One thing that gateway can change is by giving more field trips to different colleges.

Gateway was one the most below average schools ever. There were fights every week, cockroaches and rats on the stairwells, the bathrooms were always broken, and we didn't have central a/c or heating. In terms of education, it was extremely subpar. I can't tell you how many classes I had that were taught by subs rather than educated professionals in that subject. Also only about 25% of the staff at the school truly cares about the students at this school.

My experience was horrible at this school. My child was bullied and assaulted while attending Gateway STEM High School. I was not notified by staff when she was involved in a fight. We experienced retaliation, harassment and my child was unfairly disciplined when I would not accept the way the schoo...

Gateway was a great melting pot of all the diversity in the city. There were good and bad teachers/classes just like any school.
