My son is in 11th grade. He has been attending the Gateway Science school program since 8th grade. His transfer was a little rough. His previous school did not challenge him and he was looking for a way to be excited about learning again. He likes the facility and finds the campus easy to navigate. I feel it is worth mentioning that this school does not have a bussing system, because not every parent has that kind of availability.

The 5 years I have spent at this school have been such a learning opportunity for me. I have grown with the help of so many amazing teachers and peers, and this being a small school, I was given the chance to really shine through and be given individual attention that I may otherwise not have been able to get.

Too much violence. My granddaughter has been bullied too many times to count. She’s afraid to tell on others because of retaliation. Where are the teachers when she gets beat up, choked out,knocked to the floor, beaten in her chest, and etc. She’s come home with marks on her everyday. I truly believ...
