Formerly known as EAGLE Prep, Momentum Academy remains committed to its longstanding foundation of rigorous curriculum that focuses on building character, confidence and community. Serving students in Grades K-8, the school is dedicated to helping each child reach their potential and find their passion.
This is accomplished through a core curriculum that integrates traditional methods with innovative technology to take reading, language arts and mathematics to the next level. According to NEWA test scores, students here are growing academically faster than the national average in math and reading.
Beyond academics, students are challenged and enriched personally through extracurricular opportunities. Momentum Academy partners with Southside Sports to offer soccer and baseball, and the YMCA provides before and after school care, where students can receive assistance with homework.
Enrichment and community activities extend beyond the walls of Momentum Academy, with summer block parties, popsicles in the park, Kindergarten story times and outings to see theatrical performances.
As a charter school, Momentum Academy offers open enrollment, serving around 180 students. All children who reside within the boundaries of St. Louis City limits are welcome to apply to become part of this dynamic community.
