The school at first is very easy to get around, it is a very diverse school with many different students and teachers. It isn't a terrible school but it is definitely better than what I have been through with other schools.

I enjoy my time at North to a certain degree, It's helped me make friends and gain new experiences. However it has quite a few problems. First of all, there is a lack of accommodations and flexibility. I have a 504 plan for anxiety and not only do many teacher not acknowledge or use my 504 plan but it is very hard to get them to do so. So far I needed to email them twice and get a counselor involved just for them to follow one of the conditions. I am not the only one who has gone through this, and I've talked to multiple people with 504 plans and IEPs and they told me that no one follows their plan and unless you strongly advocate for yourself constantly they never will.

Parkway North is a great school to go to, even if it has a few flaws sometimes. Almost all teachers are kinda and make students feel good about being here and learning.

My children loved this school so much. They both graduated and are now going to good colleges. Teachers are good and effective, students are nice and welcoming. The school challenged their academic abilities and helped them greatly.

One went to a highly selective college and now has a PhD. The second went to an Ivy. The Ivy kid is profoundly deaf and was treated with great respect and...
