I was a previous student at Rogers middle school and was faced with shooting and bomb threats at least once a month. As well as being told that my sensory issues didn't matter and that the reason I wasn't in school was due to the fact that I'm petty rather than the fact I am a diagnosed autistic. I suffered from intense bullying and little to no help from staff. There were time limits to my emotions and I felt like I wasn't heard.
