I was a previous student at Rogers middle school and was faced with shooting and bomb threats at least once a month. As well as being told that my sensory issues didn't matter and that the reason I wasn't in school was due to the fact that I'm petty rather than the fact I am a diagnosed autistic. I suffered from intense bullying and little to no help from staff. There were time limits to my emotions and I felt like I wasn't heard.

At first I was excited for my child to start 6th grade but the further on in the year I’m disappointed in the communication and education material among staff. The school has continued to go down in ratings, environment and test scores in the last five years, despite funding going significantly up. As other reviews & info on this page states, appearances are great but if you look deeper you will see (and experience) the issues. If your child fits the stand...
