Sluh is a school that is based around raising the next generation of male leaders. It is one of the best for college preparation. The college counselors are some of the most helpful members of staff who truly want you to succeed. It is not without its faults though, for being a school in the city, there is not much diversity and the tuition can be unacceptable for most. Their out reach programs are great but could always be better, its a schools that great for those who can get in but needs to work for its community.

In all, SLUH was great. The teachers, academic rigor, and willingness to help the students succeed were the aspects that made SLUH great. Now, the school seems to think that everyone should be given everything. It has lost much of its academic rigor, you can retake every test, and it is becoming less focused on academics.

SLUH is a school welcoming to kids of all backgrounds and entering into junior year, I have really enjoyed my last two years. The teachers are very helpful as well and I doubt you will get a better school for the price
