GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Salado High School is a school where basically every student knows each other since its quite small. Not super diverse as mostly everyone is white, but its a chill atmosphere. The football games get pretty lit tho.

Salado has been a great place to grow up. I attended Salado schools from Pre-K through high school graduation. My experience in school was fruitful because of the talented teachers and administration staff. The people in Salado are what made my experience so great, and I could not have asked for a better education.

This school was very enjoyable to attend, because the people were friendly and nice. The teachers are understanding and teach their subjects. The science and math departments are especially nice. My only complaint is that there are not as many advanced courses here as other high schools of this caliber. Due to this, I could not take as many advanced science and math courses as I would have wanted to.

Absolutely love this school! The teachers, staff and administrators are very professional. I love the smaller classroom size. Highly recommend this school.

Salado High School is an outstanding school. Eight Academic UIL State Championships and two Texas Lone Star Cup Championships are certainly evidence of that.
