The teachers and staff really care about students and there are a lot of class options and other opportunities for students, especially for being a small school. The music programs in particular are top notch for the area as well, although music facilities are greatly lacking.

Salem is a great school and the teachers really care, but there is such a small population of kids and there is no diversity.

I felt very prepared to apply to colleges after attending this school, and got into one of my top choices. However, I'm not sure all of my fellow students felt the same way- I'm not sure if this is because of the school itself or because of personal push and attitude.
