The staff cares about the opinions of the student body, lots of volunteering opportunities offered, plenty of out-of-school activities, etc.

Salem High School is very average. There is nothing that stands out to me as a high school student that makes me love my school. Some teachers are extremely dedicated to helping their student while others don't care as much. The school is small compared to others, but that doesn't help with getting more one-on-one time with teachers as it should.

The teachers are quite good. The alumni association is above excellent. The students are average, but that's to be expected just about anywhere. Overall an excellent school, especially for the area.
