The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I have been going to Mount Abram for four years. My experience at Mount Abram has been sadly very normal. Mount Abram is located in the middle of nowhere in front of a mountain. Nobody expects to see a high school in the area. Whenever other schools come to us for home games they hate the ride because it has no service and its located in the middle of nowhere. My most exciting experience at Mount Abram was being there when our boys soccer team won a states title for the first time in the schools history. The boys team winning states made our school so much closer. It brought the communities together and everybody was coming to watch games that were hours away. One thing I would like to see change at Mount Abram is the amount of teachers that leave because they do not get paid enough. We have lost to many good teachers because they were not getting respected and paid how they deserved to be paid.

It sucks. The air quality is horrible and the water is literally toxic. There are no ap classes and the teachers don't seem to care about their students that much. There are leaks in every classroom. There is very poor leadership as well. If you are coming to MTA don't. Go to Mount Blue instead.

It is a very small school nestled in the woods. The teachers work hard to make sure they have a personal relationship with their students. The sports programs are great and most students participate in athletics.
i have been in this school for 3 years and my teachers get mad at me when im sick and i miss seminar and he says i need to go to it when im throwing up

I recently moved to MSAD 58 from Mass. and i cna say this is the most laid back school i have ever seen. there are couchs in half of the classrooms, there are murals everywhere, and the teachers care about their students. i couldnt recommend this school more.
