GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of my experience at Salina High School is that the staff are nice and helpful to working things out with you. I also enjoy the effort they try to put to make students have school spirits through sports. But the worst parts of my experience is the organization of the school. It is not consistent with how the system works. As they changed how grades will work randomly in 3 weeks into the school year. The students are also all very disrespectful and rude especially towards new minority students. I'd like to see changes in a more welcoming diverse school. I would also like changes of better management of the school. More organized and helpful experience.

Most teachers do not care if the students are passing/failing. The only thing they care about is football.

The teaching and coaching staff LOVE their kids. The environment is highly supportive, kind, and hard working. There is no other school I would rather graduate from.
