I would love to see more inclusion for every student there. While attending, I noticed that it can be hard to get involved and acquainted with new clubs, friends, sports, and cliques, and people can easily be deterred when environment and people aren't fully welcoming.

I would say that this school did not prepare me enough for college but I still enjoyed it because I made lots of friends and the classes were okay enough. I enjoyed my AP classes and would recommend taking them to any student at Salinas High. I would also like to see some more college readiness taught because I would say I was not prepared and mentored by the counselors as good as I should have.

A lot of the teachers are amazing especially the science teachers. The worst part would probably be the math teachers. I never had a good math teacher in my opinion. One of the math teachers is hated by everyone and most people do terrible in her class. I don't know why shes a teacher, honestly. My worse experience at this high school was her class.

My daughter attends Salinas High. Most of the teachers are great educators. The staff is very responsive to parents concerns and the sports offered include extras like diving, mountain biking and golfing. The student population is not as diverse as I would like, but there is a decent mix of students...

I loved Salinas High, most of the teachers I had were amazing, (Balbo, Beall, Power, Nichols) I would highly recommend this school which rivals any local private school. The amount of Sports, Clubs and School Spirit is unparalleled compared to any other high school in the area.

Overall I loved high school and being apart of all the activities; from going to games, prom, and being apart of homecoming, etc. I feel like your experience at SHS can be wonderful if you make it, meaning getting involved (clubs!) or even just going to a football game and supporting the school! I r...
