GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The student-teacher ratio is balanced enough so that the students can get more one on one instruction when needed. The past couple of years, the school has seen a decline in participation by students in athletics, leading to diminished scholarship pride. I would like to see that turn around.

At Samson I liked how the teachers were reliable on helping you with work. I do not like that some teachers are unorganized with teaching and do not have structured teaching.

Most of the teachers were really great ones. However, there were a few who were terrible. The good ones had diverse teaching styles, plenty of knowledge about the subject, and truly cared about the students and wanted them to succeed.
