GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is hard at a small school because there are less class choices but I am making the best of it. I love my community!

Calaveras High School has taught me a lot so far, physically and mentally. I'm going into my junior and I can say I've been through a tremendous amount of hardships but the school always offered help when needed. The staff is very welcoming and kind. Overall I like going to school at Calaveras.

Calaveras High is lowkey a mess. The school feels super outdated — like, they seriously need to upgrade everything from the classrooms to the sports fields. It’s kinda embarrassing how run down it is. You walk in and it’s like they just stopped trying. The academics? Meh. There’s a few AP classes, bu...
