I loved Mountain Oaks. I was able to graduate high school early, and complete all of my remaining credits. I transferred here before my junior year of high school, and my teacher was very inspiring. We gained a real connection and she was able to help my accomplish a lot.

The school has unique programs like pottery and robotics. Parent envolvment is essential to student success. Good high school math programs.

Bullying isn't a problem at Mountain Oaks, there's occasional drama between people but it never gets past that. People do skipped school a lot, but lets face it we are home schooled so going to class isn't that important.

We love Mt. Oaks, but prefer the Ione (Amador) site. It's where we thrive. My kids get the individual attention they want and they get to work as a team, if they wish. Socializing is fun and family based. Scholastics are highly encouraged.
