GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Mountain Oaks offers personalized learning for all their students. They have unique classes and the teachers strive to make sure every student understands the material. Unfortunately the school does not support CP classes which can be difficult for students preparing to go to a 4 year college right out of high school.

Mountain Oaks is a place where you can learn at your own pace, and customize your education. Individuality is cherished, and promoted. If someone needs to go slower, they are allowed to. If someone is a head of the rest, they are allowed to go at a faster pace. The staff at Mountain Oaks are some of the most supportive people you'll ever meet. They truly care about their students education and their well being. It's a school that makes you feel wanted, and prepares you for the world.

There are a lot of white Christians at the school, most got pulled for traditional high schools for more religious learning.

We love Mt. Oaks, but prefer the Ione (Amador) site. It's where we thrive. My kids get the individual attention they want and they get to work as a team, if they wish. Socializing is fun and family based. Scholastics are highly encouraged.
