Great Hearts Western Hills is a publicly and privately funded educational institution providing education from kindergarten through the 12th grade. In its fourth year, Great Hearts Western Hills continues to pursue and deliver an education for students in the Liberal Arts of literature, grammar and rhetoric, logic and mathematics, history, natural science and philosophy. The graduate will also have practiced the fine arts of music, poetry, drawing and painting, and drama. The curriculum includes physical education appropriate to the student’s grade level, producing well-rounded graduates capable of facing life’s challenges. Great Hearts Texas is a subsidiary corporation of Great Hearts Academies, a non-profit charter management organization. In 2020-2021, Great Hearts operated 25 classical, liberal arts schools in Phoenix, Arizona, six in San Antonio, Texas and two in Irving, Texas. Results for the school year 2020-2021 demonstrate the success of the school’s curricula. Of the 689 graduates from their schools in 2021, the weighted average grade point was 4.12. The 689 graduates earned merit-based scholarships of nearly $59 million. The average SAT score was 177 points above the national average and the average ACT score was 6.6 points above the national average. Applications for the upcoming school year are currently being taken.

My grandson loves this school. He is wanting to go and that speaks volumes. He is 5. He is a disaster with organization but his teachers are kind and helpful. Do Not enroll you child/children in this school. The Lower school has a HUGE PROBLEM WITH BULLYING!!!! AND Erica Rodriguez, Kyla Absher DO NOTHING TO STOP IT!!!!!!!!

Our daughter started Kindergarten this school year (23-24) and I’m pleased with our choice. All of our interactions with the teachers and staff have been positive. There are no outside distractions such as culture or celebrations which is something we were actively seeking. The homework is rigorous...

My only complaint is upper school NEVER answers the phone. At any given time of the day.
