Jack C. Jordan Middle School is a part of the Northside Independent School District. The school is named after former school district Superintendent Jack C. Jordan. Jordan’s academic career spanned 43 years; the last 35 years were spent in various capacities within the district. He served as the district’s superintendent for the final twelve years. Jordan managed the district during an explosive period of growth, with the student population growing from 34,000 to over 55,000. In the 2020 – 2021 school year, Jordan Middle School enrolled approximately 1,270 students. Jordan middle school is a diverse collection of students under a great and supportive faculty. There's not much that I would change or want to change about Jordan middle school due to my experiences being in football, woodshop, and intramurals. If I had to change anything it would be the cafeteria food, because it is not as good as it could be .

If you are relocating and have options, choose another school. The academics are sub-par at best, the teacher's are ill equipped to handle their student's needs, and the student's are the poster children for conflict with no resolution in sight. I live less than 2 blocks from Jordan, but drive 30 min to bring my student to another school simply to keep her out of this school.

Jordan Middle School has a strong academic program and hosts many extra curricular events. The teachers and coaches are easy to reach by email and the administrators are very approachable.
