At the International School of the Americas, San Antonio's high schoolers get an outstanding education and prepare for the rest of their lives. At ISA, students have the opportunity to step up and become leaders through grade-level student boards. The Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Boards make decisions for their respective classes and learn to represent the interests of their peers. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum, including AP and honors classes, which allows students to get a head start with college credits. As the name implies, ISA students receive an international education, as the school offers programs with sister schools in Germany, South Korea and Japan, as well as international exchange opportunities. Each grade level is offered an annual school trip to other Texas cities, Alabama and Washington D.C. With these opportunities and more, ISA provides an education comparable to no other, producing truly global citizens.

The International School of the Americas is a school that I would recommend without thought; it has by far been some of the best years of my life. The global education that is taught here is one that will bring you far in not just preparing you for college, but for life.

It is a very welcoming environment but only if you're a white kid. Not a lot of diverse students feel very welcomed in the ISA community; even though ISA kids claim to be very "woke" and "liberal".

Couldn't have asked for a better high school experience. The school takes 9th graders and turns them into global citizens ready to take on the challenges of the world by the end of their senior year.

Four years ago, my daughter and I were excited when she was selected to attend ISA. Four years later, she and I are extremely disappointed with her experience. The principal created an environment where only a select few students were given the opportunity to grow as leaders. The principal and his s...

I have 2 students that graduated from ISA. Both left very well rounded and prepared for college life and life outside the classroom. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The travel experiences are amazing and the school strives to be inclusive in many ways.

I'm a junior at ISA. The school has the atmosphere of a private school, despite being public. If there is one thing you absolutely have to know about this place, it's that the students are absolutely obsessed with sex—to a worrisome degree. I thought I was losing it when I went here at first because...
