Saint John Bosco Elementary School is a private school founded on the philosophies promoted by Saint John Bosco which include reason, religion and loving kindness. Established as a preschool in 1940 by the Sisters of Salesian, Saint John Bosco has continued to grow and now provides education to children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. With a student enrollment ranging between approximately 214 and 300 along with a full-time teaching staff of 14 to 17, the student-to-teacher ratio ranges between 13-to-1 and 17-to-1. This number is below the national average, but by no means indicates the quality of education provided. The standards of performance for both students and staff are quite high, ensuring each student gets what is needed academically and spiritually to succeed moving forward. The curriculum at Saint John Bosco is comprehensive with classes in science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and mathematics. The school partners with the Saint Mary’s University Engineering Department to engage students interested in the robotics club. Athletics are not overlooked at Saint John Bosco as students can participate in league play of basketball, volleyball, football and golf. With a strong focus on community service, Saint John Bosco has programs designed to assist parents such as after school childcare and a child development center. Children as young as six weeks of age are eligible for some of these services.

I was A student at the school and I got bullied for three years and I told the teachers and they did absolutely nothing And then my last year there I got after mass I got hand sanitizer in my eye by this kid and then his friend started throwing backpacks on me so I couldn't breathe. I told my teacher she said wait I'm talking to somebody. The person she was talking to said I could go to the nurse go to the nurse and the kid that put hand sanitizer in my eye gets suspended for one day. Do not go to the school some of the kids are nice but some are jerks

Not only were the women at the front desk helpful but everyone that I encountered throughout the process were very friendly and eager to assist. We are a new family and very excited to be sending our children to St. John Bosco.

As being Alumni my self from Pre-K thru 8th grade sending my 2 children here was not even a question. My daughter has learned soo much and is actually reading above her grade level and my son will be starting pre-k3 this coming year. Having some of the same staff that taught me teaching my children makes me feel confident that they are getting a great education and knowing they they are safe in hands that I trust

Bullying is allowed and will not be dealt with. The school also lacks effective and honest leadership.

ST. John Bosco Elementary School is a complete joke. It is A waste of money and the children's time. We had to hire a tutor for our son to get in to a great high school, because he could not pass the entrance exam. Our daughters have struggled, because it is not challenging enough. The amount of bul...
