SMHS is one of the largest HS in San Diego County. Given the large size, I know some students can feel lost in the numbers. However, my own personal experience has been fantastic. I've been involved in community sports, student government, honor and AP. I had an initial counselor that likely was not the best fit for me but she retired and I was assigned to a new counselor who has been fantastic. I am happy to have her guidance in my senior year.
