pretty good overall but not as amazing as I thought it would be. Had high expectations going in and honestly they weren't met academics wise. Sports are really good, food is great, and always feel safe.

Marin Academy's focus on experiential learning has been the highlight of education. Throughout my four years, I have taken many field trips. This year, I went to the SFMoMA for my art class and on a hike for my leadership class for an immersive lesson on how to make podcasts.

Marin Academy has been a fantastic environment for all three of my children. They all have different interests and strengths and have all thrived - academically, in the arts and in sports.

It's a great school and the world is rather demanding but it sets you up well for the future. I think the kids there are all very kind and my child has trouble making friends elementary and middle years but he made a great group of friends and just loves it.

Lacking in grade-wide curriculum (one history teacher assigns 2 1/2x the reading of the other history teacher equivalent), teacher-run school, so lacking in objective oversight, passive, lackluster, disappointing head of school, poor teachers stay until they retire or choose to leave.
