Ison Springs Elementary School is committed to giving children a strong start to a successful life. With about five hundred prekindergarten through fifth grade students, Ison Springs uses technology in teaching. The school has two computer labs and a makerspace in the media center, encouraging students to interact with technology. Ison Springs Elementary School offers a traditional curriculum with additional opportunities for students with special needs. The Talented and Gifted program offers new challenges for accelerated learners. Kids who need help with English benefit from an English Speakers of Other Languages Program and an Early Intervention Program helps students stay on track if they don’t meet academic expectations. Ison Springs Elementary School, home of the Hawks, organizes spirit “houses” to get kids fired up for learning and fun. The Hawks also field athletic teams in soccer, basketball and tennis. Clubs and activities round out the school’s offerings, giving students a chance to explore their interests, make new friends, and develop leadership skills.
