The teachers tend to be pretty good on average but there are a couple that are really bad outliers. For the area it's pretty safe and so is the school. The actual campus isn't the best maintained. It is a closed campus sadly, and they don't really offer any other food besides the stuff delivered on trucks.

Maria Carrillo High School is a pretty standard school and, for the most part, has an amazing staff team. I am feeling pretty prepared for college, however, the main complaint would be the bathrooms and the free lunch here.

I have made amazing relationships with teachers and fellow students, but have had issues with things such as misuse of district spending, past administration staff, and school facilities such as bathroom. But I have lived my time in the honors program as well as the arts.

Overall, pretty okay for high school. Lots of homework for the first three years (I am a senior) but it gets better 4th year. I feel very prepared for college academics wise. Good LGBTQ+ rep too, the student population is mostly indifferent/accepting. The only large problem is the amount of bathroom...

The homework load is heavy and they are not lenient about it even during distance learning. My daughter already struggled with her foreign language course when it was in-classroom, and as you can imagine, learning a foreign language over Zoom has been a nightmare for her. This school has such great...

Great advanced classes, oka teachers. Beware this school has a HEAVY homework load. Often skipped fun events to do loads of AP class homework.
