GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred to SMHS halfway through my Sophomore year of high school, and I was pleased to discover how much better it was for me than my previous school. I felt like I was challenged more with academics, and I wasn't judged based on my religious beliefs as I was at my previous high school. However I would like to see the coaching staff for the girls' sports reviewed as they are very biased, and their coaching tends to be compromised by the parents.

Awesome school, students are very involved in sports and extra curricular activities. Teachers are well educated and students score higher on their tests than rivaling schools. The most well-balanced high school I've ever seen.
