GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

While being at Sarcoxie Schools, I have gained lots of knowledge and life skills to help me once I get out of school. Most teachers are very helpgul if you need help in situations or help you with work if you need it. The one main bad things about our school is the food that is fed that is not very good and lots of people don't seem to like it. They do have a good system by feeding us breakfast, lunch, and supper but it just is not the very best food in general that is made for us.

Sarcoxie High School is a small school that gives a community of belonging, but sometimes with limited opportunities to prepare for college or the real world after graduation.

Sarcoxie is a community who cares for it's youth. Many school officials, teachers, and coaches are involved in more than one community development role. Churches and organizations the area assist with various real-world preparedness education opportunities. There are incredible amounts of extra-curr...

I was told by the former principal Phil Lewis that If I'd participated in moe school activities I wouldn't get bullied. Students would tell me to self harm and kill...

Good school. My daughter goes there and the teachers are very caring. Also, the high school is getting much better than it used to be. More experienced teachers, better facilities, more competitive sports teams, just an overall better environment. No other school of similar size has better facilitie...
