GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see more focus on education and music. As in most southern schools, sports is the only thing that seems to matter and athletes get preferential treatment. I would like to see more of a focus on classwork and music programs.

Need more programs to prepare students for college. There are only 1-2 foreign language options. Overall, there are not many options for furthering academics here.

I have spent my whole High School ecprience in Sardis High School. Everyone is so welcoming and everyone knows one another. We as students all grew up together and if you did not grow up here, we still welcome you with open arms and treat you as family here in Sardis. If there is one thing i want to change, its the Bathrooms. I would love for there to be some kind of holders for feminine products as some girls forget them at home or simply cannot afford them and it is a need for every girl in their teen years. Sardis is one of the best schools in etowah with great staff and amazing sports programs. Once a lion, always a lion.
