GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Sauk Prairie overall was pretty good. The teachers were willing to help and make an easy understanding of what we were learning if we asked for help. The students on the other hand were not very nice. I moved there during my freshman year of high school and the students were quite rude to everyone and don't behave very well. The school has great student services and the assistant principles are some of the greatest I have had. The teachers liked to be involved with the students and help them outside of school if needed and did what was best for each student.

I had a good experience. I got to meet new people in a small school. It was easy to talk to teachers. All the teachers where friendly and would work with you if you where struggleing.

Sauk Prairie High school is a great small school with many opportunities, but the math department is lacking. There are also very few clubs to join.

This school has very dedicated teachers and strong extra curriculars Including a nationally recognized Show Choir and sports teams that compete at the state level.

While teachers are dedicated and caring, the leadership is lacking in positive direction -- particularly when it comes to students in need of special education services. Additionally, lack of funding has caused reductions in offerings of electives for agriculturally-oriented students.
