There was not really any peer pressure and everyone was pretty much accepted by others the way they were. There was no ethnic/racial conflict, no one really paid that much attention. Most people were friends unless something happened to make them upset. But really we were like one small family.

I loved how we were challenged and taught character. They rewarded us for our triumphs and disciplined us when we messed up. There were many opportunities given to us to prepare us for high school and it paid off. It was also alot of fun!
