GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Savannah High School has been a good experience. I would like to see the school facilities updated.

Athletic programs are fantastic, unless you're a male trying to play a varsity sport. If your family or last name is not well known, it can be difficult.

Savannah High School is located in a small, rural town so it's difficult to get funding. The majority of the teachers, however, are amazing and always willing to help. As usual, sports is put above the arts program and, unfortunately, there wasn't a play my Senior year. Overall, it's a smaller school with lots of school pride (though the mascot is questionable) and I greatly enjoyed all the teachers and staff.

The teachers were good in all. Just that when popular kids and adults complain to the school on y there kid isn't getting any playing time and reports so many times to get a coached fired. In reality the kid doesn't really deserve to be played at all

A great school has: -excellent teachers -strong principle/school leadership -challenging academic programs savannah does not have these qualities, simple as that.

the school is more focussed on football or the appearance of the school they forget about the students & what they truely need. They raised he price of school lunches & lowered the portion sizes. I feel that since the students are growing & don;t have the same stomach size as they did in elementary...
