I would like folks to realize the Scarborough School system is overcrowded and will be more so because of the town possibly allowing exemptions to building permits. See the presentation posted on the "steering board committee" on June 6th. I don't have a child In this school. My child is 5 right now. I feel like I can comment because the town's policy allowing building that overcrowds our schools even more BEFORE a new school could accommodate children that are already living here is bad policy. That's my reason for the two stars. The middle school is overcrowded and the elementary school too.

As a parent, communication from the school has been lacking. If your child is struggling in a class, you will not hear about it for weeks, until the situation is beyond repair. Assignments are often distributed to students over 3-4 different online programs, making it difficult for both students and...

The Class of 2021 is the literal worst. It is composed of a bunch of rich white kids who are disrespectful to all of their teachers and when something doesn't go their way they throw a fit and say it's the teachers fault even though they were the ones on their phones in class, talking over the teach...

This may be because they changed curriculums, but I learned the same exact thing in science in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, while the grade above me learned a variety of differ...

After moving to the town of Scarborough and going to SMS throughout my middleschool career, I can say with all my heart that I dreaded school there everyday. The community is just full of rich white kids who can't see a world beyond their $200 UGGs. The school has roughly 800 students but through ou...
