I came to this school as a sophomore and it was one of the best choices I made. As a musically inclined student, I have never felt more accepted and encouraged since attending this school. This is the perfect place to send a student that feels they are struggling with fitting in and finding a community of like-minded artists. Although the focus of the school is not on academics, it still encourages other interests and the academic teachers are very helpful and caring people.

Unique learning experience. I don't know any other school that teaches K-12 in both academics and arts. Best thing about this school is how they don't put art above academics or vice versa. You get to focus on your major/majors and have the opportunity to succeed by taking AA and AP classes. It has decent diversity but could do better for a place that talks about how diverse they are. Overall would recommend to those who want to prepare for a career in the arts and have a passion for creativity and the arts but doesn't want to sacrifice academic success.

SCPA provided great opportunities for performing and education in the dance field. Academics were average; however, there is ability to take academic classes outside of school.

This school used to be a great school. The current administration and staff are running it to the ground. The main focus is money. Performances for money, constant soliciting of random items to make money and duplicated charges of broken item fees. There are some good teachers here, there are also s...

This school is amazing. I was there from 4th grade to graduation. The music programs are excellent. I graduated in 2013 so I’m not sure if the same teachers are there, but most of the teachers were great. I would recommend for my child.

This school is outstanding in the quality of artistic preparation and also academic preparation of the students. It is full of life and positive energy. It really gives the students what I like to call a well rounded preparation. My daughter says this school is like her second family for her.

This is the best all-around school in the area. The teachers and staff go above and beyond for the students. The academics are on par with Walnut Hills. They expose the children to many opportunities children usually don't have. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes them too long to weed out...
