At times our school has great health services and security, but that is only at times when there is something wrong. For instance, the police would only show up if there was an anonymous tip for drugs or if there was a threat to our school. We practice procedures for a lock down, tornadoes, hurricanes, and fire drills. Bullying isn't a problem in our school. Sure there are some cases, but bullying is non-existent except for that. Our health services are horrible at my school. You could go to the nurse because you have the flu and all they would do is give you an ice pack and send you back to class. When I don't feel well, I just call my mom instead of going to the nurse because I believe that they do not know what they are doing.

We've had a great experience with our kids in the elementary school. The leadership in the entire school district is great. I would highly recommend SHASD!

We moved here from Blue Mt. School District last year and I was really reluctant to make the move because of what I read about Sch. Haven schools and the low ratings. I have a child in each Elementary, Middle & High school and they have all done remarkably well and the teachers are top notch - very...
