The only thing I really like about this school is that they do make you prepared for a tornado, earthquake, fire, ect. Favoritism is a big factor in Scott City. Even the lunch ladies will give their kids or kids friends free food.

It feels like few teachers like their jobs there. Some do go above and beyond what is expected of them, and you learn the most in their classes. At least two teachers in the high school just give you the answers to the homework, then make the test extremely hard. Not having homework is a way to study and learn the material for the test on that chapter or section.

Sports are the only thing to do in this town besides hunt so everybody participates in sports.

The school is in need of better staff. Most teachers are only concerned for their own wellbeing and their own personal interests. Favoritism is so bad that most the kids grow up to hate this school. The coaches that play and start their own kids or playing their good ole drinking buddies kids. This...

It's more advanced now than when I went there. Plus there are more incentives for the kids to try harder and become involved. They grow their curriculum and extra curricula all the time. But done if the teachers are extremely bias about family names and who's who. They also have a school uniform now...
