GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Kind of mediocre. Good teachers, average faculty. The teachers listen to the students opinions but the faculty is lacking when it comes to that.

If you were average or about average this school would be ideal. But for special needs children or children with learning disabilities, I do not suggest Scott City. My friend graduated Scott City High School without knowing how to tell time or count money.

The sports teams do very well. But they do get a bigger budget for uniforms and other things. They are very well supported by not only staff but students.

But done if the teachers are extremely bias about family names and who's who. They also have a school uniform now...
