I have gone to SHS for almost three full years, and I have always gone to Scottsboro schools. Personally, I feel as if the students aren't taken seriously. Teachers and administration did not completely grasp how devastating COVID-19 really was, no one cared if masks were worn properly till an outbreak, rather than squashing the issue as soon as it rose. As well as teachers swearing and using the r-slur.

I feel like I have learned a lot at Scottsboro High School. We have many options for courses, sports, and clubs. If I had to change anything I would have more counselors so they can help us with scholarship applications. All our teachers care about the students and go out of their way to help them.

I have met some of the best teachers that have had an influence in my life. I have also made friends that I hope I will keep in my entire lifetime. I have also met some other folks that have difference in opinions than me, however, I have learned to accept them and treat them with respect. What I can say of my school is that you learn while you try to have some fun at the same time. Our school has been the host to some exchange students that not only have learned our American customs but also have earned lifetime friends.
