Open 22 years and counting, The International School of Arizona is a proud member of the community as a leader in private school education. The International School of Arizona’s biggest differentiator is its language immersion programs. They begin at 18 months in Spanish and French-accredited programs and continue all the way through eighth grade. The goal is to allow children to achieve bilingualism through play, structured language learning and acquired routines. It’s not just a second language that students learn; they also come to understand different cultures and ways of life that positively impact their cognitive, social and emotional development. Pointing to studies that show language immersion students graduate an average of two or three years ahead of their peers, The International School of Arizona says students also have higher test scores, stronger literacy skills and enhanced cognitive abilities, leading to better employability later in life. In addition to language immersion, traditional subjects are taught in both languages along with popular arts programs like performing arts, music and world language courses. The International School of Arizona is highly rated by members of the community. It has a population of about 200 students and a very low student-to-teacher ratio of 8-to-1.

t is a wonderful school with caring staff, a truly wholistic curriculum that helps the students become critical thinkers. The children are excited to go everyday, and the staff are warm and nurturing. The curriculum is challenging and our son will leave fluent in French and with a good grasp of Spanish and be essentially tri-lingual upon leaving at 8th grade.

We have 2 children in the French track. It's a diverse, forward thinking and open minded community where our children have grown and have flourished. We have only been here for one year but already feel like part a large family. The parents are kind, the staff is incredible and compassionate, the education is international and the smaller class sizes are perfect.

This school rejected my son after I provided them with the information that he has adhd and is on medication and therapy. His interview was fine and we were told he fit in well but the moment that I disclosed that he had a medical condition they rejected him. You do not have to disclose this information; I thought that parents and educators could be partners and asked for no assistance from the school. I would not recommend the school but if you want to go there do not tell them anything as they will judge you.

Horrible. My child, 4th grade, was neglected by their classmates and teachers. And to mention, he is an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder and received ZERO help and accommodations for that. I would not recommend this school to any neurodivergent and/or introverted kids.

Our two children are having an incredible experience at the International School of Arizona. The quality of education our children are receiving at ISA is truly second to none. Both our children are building fluency in French and also learning Spanish, as well as receiving top-notch instruction in a...

I toured this school and was very impressed and excited about my child attending, but my experience interacting with them thereafter was very concerning. First, they are very unresponsive. Emails just go unanswered. I would have to follow up multiple times. Second, they won't meet with you. I reques...

It is a wonderful school with caring staff, a truly wholistic curriculum that helps the students become critical thinkers. Our son is fluent in French and we do not speak French, but that doesn't mean it's just a language school. It has one of the most rigorous curriculums in the state and he tests...
