I feel that this school is very safe. The school is gated off when school starts and and opens when it is time to pick up your child. The only part that is open is the parking lot in front of the office during school hours. The school is small and the office has an open view of the entire school so it is constantly monitored. Visitors are required to sign in and they do get a badge so that teachers know when they are aloud to be on campus.

This school offers a lot of Kinesthetic ways of learning so that they kids really grasp the full meaning of everything in a fun environment that they feel safe expressing themselves in.

This school offers many field trips for the students that involve camping hiking and many other things. The 8th graders get to go to Catalina for a week of exiting learning and every other year there are a select few that get the opportunity to go to Manhattan, NY for MMUN for a week. There is a hiking club that goes exploring and hiking weekly too. This is an amazingly physical school and encourages the joys of nature.

If you have a kid, don’t move to Sedona.The schools can’t handle the variety of students they have and everyone loses.

Sedona charter school is an excellent school, evident by the wait list. I have nothing negative to say. If you're wondering whether to choose public or charter school here in Sedona, choose charter. It's an amazing school set in a beautiful residential area.
