Hi-Plains High School focused on more academics than athletics when I first transferred. However, with sports becoming more and more competitive they have fallen into the whole of trying to be the best athletically.

Hi-Plains serves a small community and does an excellent job. The staff truly cares about the individual students. Although the course offerings are relatively small, they are supplemented with outside sources.
