GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience at Selinsgrove Area High School was the faculty. I have made so many great connections with teachers that I can use as recommendations. Also, they genuinely care for you. The worst part about Selinsgrove Area High School is the cliques that form. They rarely let other people join their cliques and if you are not in one since middle school, you most likely will find it harder to become a part of one.

Throughout my academic career, this institution has served as my primary place of education. While it may not be universally regarded as the most exceptional educational establishment, it consistently strives to empower its students to achieve their full potential, irrespective of their diverse backgrounds.

This school has a lot of great teachers and overall good administration and the sports here are good. I've enjoyed being a part of the soccer team here.

Special Ed is terrible they do not help the special Ed children at all. The bullies pick on them and the special Ed children get in trouble.

As an alumni of selinsgrove I personally wouldn't want my child going to any other school. I've been to others and know how they treat their students. Out of all the school districts in the area my first choice would always be selinsgrove! When I graduated of course their was a different principal,...

My son who is now a student at a private college has remarked many times how impressive his teachers were at SAHS. Now we have two daughters in the high school. Even though Covid the last year this school has done a remarkable job - making education flexible, safe and real. The school is inclusive an...

The teachers and Principals only care about the sports kids!! There are massive amounts of drugs being sold at the school. The bullying is horrible, and even when you go to the District office and complain, they do nothing about it!! I would avoid this school district at all costs! The teachers are...
