GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Serena is a small school that is very open to new things. We have expanded our classes. I love the feel of family in the school. You might not know everyone but you have an idea about them. The staff is great and I like all my teachers. They make school fun and easy to come to.

I love the small town community. The people make the experience at Serena High School. However since it is a small school there is not as many opportunities.

A lot of the food available in cafeteria isn't very healthy for you. The only "healthy" option that is available for the students is a salad. But you can't get a salad if you receive free lunch because you'll have to pay for it. Also, the portions of food you receive are off balance. Some days you have a lot of food on your plate, and other days it's just a hamburger and milk.

I've gone to this school. Teachers really watch out for the students and if you are falling behind or are having any problems they will help you the very best that they can. The teachers there genuinely care. The facility has a lot of new additions and is kept very clean! The technology available is...

Serena High School is an elegant learning institution. Innovations in technology include iPads, net books, and flat screen desk top computers, to name a few. The business and technology department is phenomenal! The high school gym and cafeteria is fairly new. The student body is that of a tight-kni...

Athletics are horrible. season records, players, and coaches arn't good. Coaches don't do a good job of making sure all players treat each other with respect.Quite a few of the athletes are hot heads and are not fun to play with. Athletes go through random drug tests and alot of them smoke and drink...
