I love that there will always be a teacher to help you with anything you need. Severn really made me feel ready for college.

Severn offers a robust and extremely challenging academic curriculum. The athletic programs are a bit under-established and coaches pull from youth leagues they are associated with but that is standard practice. Be aware that large groups of students come from a small group of local schools making assimilation difficult or at least lengthy for some students.

Unfortunately not up to expectations — there is zero individualized attention for kids. while there are a few great teachers, there are a few who are not good as well as some who are just mean. Administration drove out a great long standing teacher last year for standing up to administration. The lunch time food is horrible snd unhealthy. Wished we had looked at a different school.

Severn School has offered my children (in elementary school) a wonderful academic experience and rich character development. Severn is a great school. Both of my daughters have attended the school since the sixth grade. They are now in the 9th and 11th grades. The school is nurturing, challenging, and rigorous.
