It is a predominately white school but from my experience, it wasn't a hindrance. Some of my best teacher-student experiences came from this school which is saddening, to say the least, but the teachers are actually caring and happy to be teaching students.

Benfield Elementary School is the second elementary school we have experienced and by far exceeded our previous experience with the other school that only serviced one neighborhood (think goldfish bowl). I have a first grader and kindergartener. I have been nothing short of impressed. Lots of learning, the teachers really seem to care, lots is extra activities, my kids are excited to go to school every day. Couldn’t be happier.
