Shady Spring High School has been a wonderful educational experience for me. I've participated in extracurricular activities all four years of high school and throughly enjoyed it. This school has a strong community and both from students, staff, parents, and local businesses.

I never really had a bad experience with this high school. however, there could always be improvements, the teachers where always helpful when they wanted to be. the food was disgusting but I never expecting a full course meal. this school has very good clubs/sports I was never the star player, but I still enjoyed running cross country. some teachers got boring because they would always do the same things over and over again. the facility does some things that are questionable, but I never thought to hard about it until I got older. the people at shady spring high school are a win/win situation. you would have bulling and things but like with every high school it happens. my experience was in an out by far. but if I could go back and redo my last year in high school I so would. I miss it and I just graduated. i am ready to move on and start a new journey.

Students need counselors. I was not informed about any scholarship or grant opportunities. We were not taken on field trips to check out colleges. Lack of opportunities. Many Students are rude and disrespectful to teachers. This makes it difficult for students who actually want to learn. It's disheartening and frustrating that faculty has no control over students and students know it. I was sad and depressed at this school and hope college is better.

My daughter started being bullied at the Shady Spring Middle School and it continued on at the High School. The answer was to ostracize my daughter and put her on homebound where she had no interaction with others of her age. The bullies got to stay in school and participate in sports and all the sc...
