Overall the school has a great environment. There are a lot of club and sports available to the students.

Most of the teachers on campus really cared about their students so that was nice. However, their were teacher I won't name names that could care less about teaching and would just play movies. The environment was great. Hardly any fights among the students. Leadership was great. Their was great school sprite among all the students and staff. Over all I would say it's a great school.

What makes Shafter High such a great place is the city's pride and support for their school. Without everything the community does for the students, they wouldn't have a lot to be proud of.
