There are many things that I like about Shakamak Junior/Senior High School. One of them would have to be the teachers. They always made sure that we understood the assignment and made sure that we are okay in our mental health. They made great impact in our lives and they believed in us. Another would be that it was a small school and you basically new everyone that went there. If they seen you in the hallways they would say hi or ask if you we're ok. One thing that I would like to change would be that the sport coaches have favorites. If you didn't have the right name then you would not be on varsity and you also wouldn't make you a start. It's a problem and needs to be fixed but that may never happen.

I have been able to get a good enough education to get accepted into Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

As far as the school itself, it is a great place for someone to get there education. I went there grime pre-school all the way through graduation. Great place to grow up and get you ready for college.

I am ashamed to say I currently go to shakamak. They could not care less about 85% of the student body, and only care about you if you play sports or have a certain last name. There are very few good teachers, such as Mrs. Morin, Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Estey, Mr Gambill, and Mrs Miller. Discipline is terr...

The bullying that goes on at that school is horrible and the principal did absolutely nothing about it! I wouldn't not recommend ANY PARENT TO SEND THEIR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL!1

I was a former student of Shakamak and ashamed to say that I attended school there. I am also ashamed that my child ever went there! Unless you have a certain last name, money, certain clothes or are into sports, you are nothing. I tried for several years to get my daughter tested for learning disabi...

I had 2 children attend this school and I can tell you that if you do not have the right last name you do not belong, if you do not play sports you do not belong, and if you are not from there you do not belong! The education comes second to the sports and that is unexceptable! My child had to take...
